Privacy Policy
1. What we collect
Information you give us. When you create an account: your name, email address, phone number, and password (stored only as a salted hash). As you use the Network: homes and searches you save, alerts you enable, inquiries and call requests you send (including the consent checkboxes you mark, kept as a record with their exact wording), listings you post and their photos, reviews you write, home-value requests (a property address and your contact information), and — if you register for full listing access — your registration record as MLS policy requires.
Information collected automatically. Pages and listings viewed, saves and shares, the referring page, your IP address, browser and device type, and an anonymized visitor identifier. Sign-in uses a session cookie; the Network does not run third-party advertising trackers.
Business accounts. If you use a business product on the Network (for example a property-management office), the records that business keeps — properties, tenants, leases, payments — live in that business's own isolated data store and are controlled by that business.
2. How we use it
- To run your account and the features you use: saved homes, saved searches, alerts, posted listings, portals.
- To send the Communications described in the Terms of Use — notifications (including web push), email, and phone — about your account, your property search, alerts you enable, and inquiries you send. Every channel has its own off switch.
- To deliver your inquiry or call request to the appropriate real-estate professional when you ask us to — the consent checkbox on the form is the switch, and its exact wording is recorded with your inquiry.
- To produce aggregate, anonymous statistics — for example, how many people viewed or saved a listing this week. Professionals may see those counts; they never include your identity unless you have separately consented (by inquiry, or through a client relationship you accepted).
- To keep the Network secure, prevent abuse, and meet legal and MLS-policy obligations (including MLS audits of registration records).
3. What we share — and what we never share
- Real-estate professionals: only what you consent to. An inquiry you send goes to the professional it addresses, with your consent recorded. If an agent sets up a search for you and you accept it, that agent can see the homes you save so they can help — that visibility is disclosed when the connection is made, and you can end it at any time.
- Service providers: email delivery, hosting, and payment processing (card payments are handled by the payment processor; we do not store full card numbers).
- MLS: registration records for full listing access, on request, as MLS policy requires.
- Legal: when required by law or to protect the Network and its users.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers. Saving a home never, by itself, gives any professional your identity or permission to contact you.
4. Your choices
- Turn any alert off from your account or from the switch in every alert email.
- Disable notifications in your browser or device settings, or from the notifications control on the site.
- Ask any caller — or us, through the site — to stop phone contact.
- Edit your profile and saved items from your account at any time.
- Close your account from your account page. We delete your profile and stop all Communications; records we must keep (consent records, MLS-required registration records, business transaction records) are retained only as long as law or MLS policy requires.
5. Retention and security
We keep your information while your account is active and as described above afterward. The Network is served over TLS, business data is isolated per business, passwords are stored only as salted hashes, and data is backed up off-site in encrypted form. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you as the law requires.
6. Children
The Network is for adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
7. Changes and contact
If this policy changes materially, we will update the version and date above and notify account holders by a Communication. Questions can be sent through the contact options on any Network site.
